The Financial Times has named Turkey as one of the best places to consider buying a holiday home.
Is 2010 the time to buy in Turkey?
The Financial Times has named Turkey among it's selected locations where people are able to purchase holiday homes and residential property safely. Also appearing in their list is London, New York and Paris. Turkey appeared in the top ten locations "its substantial and beautiful coastline and rapidly emerging second home market."With the domestic property market suffering from poor sales figures some of those with money have begun looking for the bargains that such conditions bring. The property market in Turkey appeals to mass and mid markets and now higher-quality developments are now available, including apartments, villas and other second home opportunities.
The Financial Times stated that the destinations of Belek, Altinkum and areas around Bodrum are worthy of a closer look. As prices have come down over the past couple of years 2009 could be the time when the market bottoms out and 2009/2010 could be the time to buy before the big crowds move in.
