Wayside Restaurant Icmeler - What is the menu like?
You can expect an excellent range of freshly cooked dishes with something to make even the pickiest of diners happy. Steaks, chicken, fajitas, fish, spaghetti bolognaise, garlic mushrooms and delicious deserts. It's also a great chance to try come authentic traditional Turkish dishes, if you're unsure about anything then just ask, the knowledgeable staff are more than happy to guide you through the various dishes. Steaks are talked about particularly highly here, cooked to your liking with a variety flavoursome sauces, vegetables and a choice of potatoes. Vegetarian options are available too. Deserts are superb and include cheesecake, icecream, tiramisu, brownie and many more.
There's a good wine list too which complements the food nicely. A lunch menu is also available. Also talked about are the cocktails, with the FBI (that's the 'Frozen Black Irish') being very popular.

Is it good value for money?
The overwhelming consensus is that it's excellent value for money, you may pay a few lira more than in other restaurants but the quality of the food, excellent staff and relaxed atmosphere is well worth it. One nice point is that the prices are listed on the menu in Pounds, Euros and Lira which can be very helpful to tourists.

As you would expect of a restaurant with such an excellent reputation it's clientele transcends any particular demographic, holiday-makers, locals and even those that have made a journey specifically to experience the food and service will be found here. It's simply one of those places that people will go out of their way to frequent, for many holiday-makers it's on their 'to do' lists. If they've dined here it the past then they'll be going out of their way to return. The restaurant is very family-friendly, no loud music, dancing or sports on TV, just a proper restaurant.

Icmeler. Aside from the great food one of the big attractions of this restaurant is the friendly staff and the high quality of the service. Visitors are often remembered even if they haven't visited for a year and this plays a big part in drawing customers back time and again. The hosts, Rachel and Hamdi do a fantastic job of making this the go-to restaurant in Icmeler.
The atmosphere is laid back and you will not be hassled during your meal, something that many people really appreciate, the staff seem to know exactly what the diners want and act in the appropriate, professional and friendly manner. Nothing is too much for the waiters, they have a very warm, friendly and welcoming attitude, one of the factors that really make this restaurant something unique in the area.
Because of its popularity it might be a good idea to book in advance just to be on the safe side, it can get busy, otherwise if you're not in a rush you can wait.
